Students, service and smiles: celebrating volunteering at Royal Holloway

CAEB was delighted to join the Festival of Volunteering at the beautiful Royal Holloway campus this October. Lord-Lieutenant, Michael More-Molyneux opened the event on Founder’s Square with Professor Emma Mayhew, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education and Student Experience).
Volunteer Co-ordinator Nicky Phull and Comms Officer Siobhan Newman enjoyed meeting many enthusiastic students interested in volunteering with our service. It was especially inspiring to meet two students who already had Citizens Advice experience in their home town.
It was also great to meet people from other charities including an eco-friendly cow and representatives from the university’s Legal Advice Centre.
A huge thank you to Royal Holloway for hosting such a great event!
