Leave a gift
Gifts left to charities in Wills – usually known as legacies – don’t need to be large, and they don’t prevent you from taking care of your family and loved ones. In fact, a legacy to a charity can ease the burden of Inheritance Tax.
Legacies are becoming an increasingly important part of income for all charities, including local Citizens Advice centres. Leaving a Legacy to Citizens Advice East Berkshire will help make sure that we are still here, down the years to come, for your family, friends and others in the community.
What do I do?
Making or changing a Will is easier than you think, although we recommend that you use a solicitor. That way you can make your wishes clear and have taken into account any legal requirements that you may not be aware might affect your circumstances. Give your solicitor our Name, Registered Address, and Charity Number so they can write the necessary clause in your will.
