CAEB was delighted to welcome Joshua Reynolds MP to our Maidenhead office.

The MP for Maidenhead met with volunteers and staff, before hearing a presentation from Sudesh, Research and Campaigns volunteer. The presentation highlighted key issues facing our clients, including housing, debt and the rising cost of living.

Our CEO Nicola Miller gave an overview of CAEB, sharing case studies and key issues.
Josh expressed his willingness to hear views on current bills going through parliament and policy matters. He also shared insights into how his own team of caseworkers operates and explored opportunities for collaboration with CAEB.

Reflecting on the visit, Nicola said: “It was great to have Joshua Reynolds MP visit our Maidenhead office and hear about the work we’re doing locally. We talked about the real challenges people are facing and how we’re using what we learn from our casework to push for changes that really matter – like fairer housing, better support with energy bills, and tackling debt.

“Whether it’s pushing for fairer welfare systems or tackling no-fault evictions, our evidence-based influencing ensures that the voices of those we support are heard at every level. We look forward to working with Josh and his team on shared priorities for our community.”

Joshua Reynolds said: “I really enjoyed visiting Citizens Advice in Maidenhead and meeting the team. The work they do in helping people with housing, energy bills and debt has a huge impact locally. I was impressed by how they use what they learn to push for wider change, making sure people’s voices are heard where it matters.”
