New CEO takes the helm at Citizens Advice East Berkshire
Citizens Advice East Berkshire (CAEB) is delighted to announce the appointment of Nicola Miller as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Nicola brings a wealth of experience in the not-for-profit sector, having successfully led organisations in executive roles. Most recently, she served at The Dash Charity, which provides vital support to domestic abuse victims across East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. Nicola is also the founder of A Mile in Her Shoes, an award-winning charity that empowers women affected by homelessness through running and physical activity. In addition, she has held trustee positions at two charitable organisations, demonstrating her longstanding commitment to social justice and community support.
Cheryl Coppell, Chair of the Board of Trustees at CAEB, said: “We are so pleased to welcome Nicola aboard to lead our talented team at Citizens Advice East Berkshire. Her extensive leadership experience, passion for helping vulnerable people, and deep understanding of the challenges facing our communities make her ideal for this role. We are confident that under Nicola’s leadership, CAEB will continue to evolve and strengthen its support for those in need, ensuring our advice services remain accessible, inclusive and impactful. Nicola officially joins CAEB on Thursday, May 1 at a pivotal moment for the organisation, which continues to strengthen its services to meet rising demand. In the past year alone, CAEB has delivered life-changing advice to 6,013 people across Bracknell Forest, Maidenhead, Windsor, and Slough, addressing more than 30,996 individual issues related to benefits, debt, housing and employment.
