Volunteering in action
“I started volunteering at Citizens Advice East Berkshire whilst studying for my degree. As a law graduate, I found the training interesting, but applying this to real life situations and helping people at the same time was invaluable.
My volunteering experience became a point of conversation during job interviews and helped me to get my position as a legal assistant. In addition to this, it made my mum really proud! I’d highly recommend volunteering at Citizens Advice.”
